Recipe: Protein-Rich Creamy Garlic Dressing
Whip up this fresh topping for salads or use it as a vegetable dip

This delicious, protein-rich dressing can be used on salads or as a dip for meat, chicken or vegetables. Garlic is an amazing immune-boosting, antimicrobial food. It also lowers your blood pressure and optimizes your cholesterol. And the taste of this dressing adds a zesty zing to anything it pairs up with. Plus, macadamia nuts offer up a nice, creamy texture and silky finish.
Ingredients
1 cup of macadamia nuts
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
¼ teaspoon of dry mustard
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
⅓ cup of water
⅔ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients except the oil in a blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute.
- With the lid on and using the blender fill cap, slowly drizzle in the oil and blend until the dressing is smooth and creamy.
- Taste for seasoning and add more salt or black pepper if desired.
- Store in an air-tight glass jar and refrigerate for up to five days.
