Recipe: Thai Coconut Bone Broth
A flavorful, healthy soup base that's all it's hyped up to be

Bone broth on its own is a favorite comfort and healing food. It’s both delicious as well as nutritious and can be used as a meal or snack anytime. In this recipe, the extra texture and taste of coconut gives it a rich flavor that’s inspired by Thai cooking and more satisfying than you might imagine.
Ingredients
7 ounces of grass-fed beef bone broth
1 pinch of dried cumin
1 pinch of freshly ground white pepper
1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
1 pinch of dried hot Thai chilies, or to taste
1 pinch of dried lemongrass
1 pinch of garlic powder
1 pinch of dried ginger
1 pinch of dried mint
1 pinch of sea salt
2 tablespoons toasted, unsweetened shredded coconut, finely ground
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Heat on medium-high heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Pour into your favorite mug or bowl, and enjoy!
